Shifting Shades

Magnetic polish is so fun, but so hard to capture on camera. These photos didn't catch the shifting cat's eye effect, but they at least got the color shift of the multichrome! I added multichrome flakies as well for some extra fun, and then a little bit of decoration using gel paint and some dipping powder.

Supplies Used:
China Glaze Liquid Leather
F.U.N. Lacquer Believe
Magnet
ILNP Looking Glass
Wildflowers Pop-up Gel
Mia Secret Missing You (blue powder)
ASP Electric Purple (Purple powder)

TARDIS

Prompt: Fandom

I had the itch to do something with LED stickers once again! I somehow ruined two lights while trying to do this - the first I tried embedding in gel and it stopped working, so I thought maybe the heat of the gel interfered with it. The second I tried putting in acrylic, and I think I filed through the wire by accident. For the third I just used regular nail polish and Seche Vite, and it didn't stick out as much as I feared!

My first attempt at a 'smoosh' technique, and for something so easy it's surprisingly fun!

Egyptian

A quick and simple design, but it's kind of fun that way! Foil stamping on the middle nails means the gold is super mirror shiny.

Color Club New-tral
Zoya Caitlyn
Seche Astute
BMC Royal Blue
Moyra Foil Gel Polish Black
Gold foil

Photo inspiration challenge!

I probably take these challenges too literally by replicating them, but I at least tried to make this one a little different. I just like painting landscapes too much. I'm also in love with Rogue Lacquer polish, so I had to add that for a bit of sparkle.

Supplies:
Sephora by OPI Who's Spinning Tonight?
Rogue Lacquer Mauvelous
Gradient:
Essie Nama-stay the night
Zoya Yummy
ORLY White Tips
OPI No Faux Yellow
Icing Emerald City
Acrylic Paint

Funky French Spider

Prompt: Funky French

It's October, which means it's time for glow in the dark even when it's not necessary! Rather than using glow nail polish, I tried using glow in the dark powder. I have a white powder that glows blue, so I patted that onto wet regular white polish for the tips, and it worked well! I then used a green glow powder on a spiderweb made with spider gel.

Supplies:
ORLY White Tips
ORLY Charged Up
Morgan Taylor Go for the Glow
Wildflowers Spider Gel White
Wildflowers Pop Up Gel Black
Glow in the Dark powder Blue
Glow in the dark powder Green
